They're drunk out of their mind.

You found out your teen’s been drinking. Now what? Don’t ignore it. Lovingly confront it. Consequences are important—but so is grace. Talk about why it’s wrong: not just because it’s illegal, but because it’s dangerous and dishonoring to God. Ephesians 5:18 says, “Do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit.” Let them know you care about their heart—not just their behavior. And remind them that Jesus offers forgiveness, purpose, and a better way to live. If it’s more than a one-time issue, consider Christian counseling or a recovery group for teens. Help is out there—and sometimes we need others to come alongside us.
